This is a two-part series with Wai Cheong Kok. The teachings are based on the book Becoming Compassion Buddha – Tantric Mahamudra for Everyday Life by Lama Yeshe, Wisdom Publications. You may choose to attend either or both teachings.

Learn to tap into and become receptive to heartfelt inspiration through our meditation practice. Inspiration is when our heart and mind are touched and transformed for the positive through contacting wholesome conditions that uplift our spirit and open our hearts.

In Tibetan Buddhism, we conscientiously work on bringing inspiration into both our formal meditation and daily life because inspiration is the life-giving water that moistens and promotes the growth of the seeds of study and practice we have engaged in so as to bring forth a positive change in our experiences.

In this workshop, we will explore the theory and practices for connecting with our own sources of inspiration. There will be explanations, guided meditations and time for discussion or Q&A. All are welcome; no prerequisite needed.

Date: Sunday 25th February

Time: 10.00am-3.00pm

Location: In person at Kunsang Yeshe or online via Zoom

Through skilful use of visualisation and concentration, we can activate our natural compassion and encourage its growth and development. A compassionate heart is a major condition for finding deep peace and happiness in our lives, even when confronted by difficult and painful situations.

Through the unique Buddhist tantric method of Avalokiteshvara, or the Buddha of Compassion, we nurture our compassion and encourage it to come forth through a combination of visualisation, mantra recitation and meditative concentration.

This workshop provides an introduction to this special meditation method based on a sadhana composed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. There will be explanations, guided meditations and time for discussion or Q&A. All are welcome; no prerequisite needed.
