Dukkha is a state of ‘unsatisfactoriness’. In this talk with Geshe Sherab we will learn how to transform physical, emotional, and mental suffering into the well-being and happiness that is Sukkha.

The Rice Seedling Sutra explains the laws of cause and effect and how through ignorance, suffering is created. This is done through using the analogy of how a seed comes into existence. With his scholarly knowledge and understanding of western students Geshela will help us develop a deeper understanding of dependent arising, what it means in life and how we can use this knowledge on a daily basis.

It is wonderful to be welcoming the renowned scholar and teacher, Geshe Sherab back to the Mountains.

Having completed his Geshe studies at the famous Sera Je monastery in South India, followed by a year at Gyumed Tantric College, Geshela has held many teaching positions around the world.

Geshela has a unique gift of presenting often complex Buddhist topics in a simple, warm and accessible manner. He has much experience with Western students, which helps him to explain Dharma to us in a practical and applicable way.
